Danish photographer and director, Anders Overgaard, gives a rare insight into the famed Burning Man festival that takes place in Nevada’s Black Rock Desert with his latest book, Nothing Left Behind.
Through his inspiring and daring images, Overgaard's limited edition photo book of the annual festival unites pictures and words in a poetic narrative about the bond that occurs between people, music, art and fashion. Stories and quotes are included from P.Diddy, Frederik Bockhahn, D.J Pierce, Maor Cohen and Overgaard, himself.
"It was a photo dream: a scenery that played out for my eyes - with beautiful people in extraordinary outfits," says Overgaard.
The release of Nothing Left Behind will coincide with a gallery exhibition of Overgaard’s images from the festival at Jason McCoy Gallery (41 East 57th Street, 11th Floor, NYC 10022), on September 27, 2017.
Overgaard is an international photographer/director living between New York City and Copenhagen, with campaign and editorial contributions including Vogue, GQ, Marie Claire, Omega, Nautica and BMW.
